Warm the inside when it’s cold outside with these delicious foods. Ever have those days when a blanket is just not enough, I know I have. Some days where I live it can be below freezing and even being covered in a blanket with the heat on 90 does not warm me up. That is why I love warm comfort foods, they make you feel warm inside and out 🙂
Since where I live the weather is becoming colder I thought why not share with you my favorite comfort foods for those Winter days.
GOUDA-BACON MAC & CHEESE: Nothing says comfort food like homemade macaroni and cheese! This is definitely a family favorite:)
Slow- Cooker Turkey Chili – I am a big lover of chile so when I found this recipe I was over the moon happy 🙂
Slow- Cooker Beef Stew – a few years ago we bought a slow cooker and we haven’t used it much since then so when I saw these recipes online I was so happy to finally have an excuse to use it. This is such a delicious and warm, comforting recipe that is wonderful to make during the Holidays or on a snowed in day!
Short Rib meatloaf – Ribs and meatloaf are two of my favorite things so combing the two in one recipe tastes oh so good!
Chicken Noodle Soup – what better way to beat off a winter cold than with chicken noodle soup. This soup is packed full of nutrients that will have you up and running in no time! And if you are not sick then this is a delicious meal to warm you up!
Roasted Chicken and Potatoes – hands down roasted chicken with potatoes is my favorite meal. Although it does take time to prepare it is worth it because the end result is scrumptious.
Chicken pot pie – I don’t know what it is about chicken pot pie but everytime I eat it I feel so good, it is so warming and it always tastes so delicious, an added bonus is this recipe is amazing and simple to make!
Baked-Potato Eggs Recipe – I love breakfast so much so when I found this recipe I had to try it out! I have one word, incredible!!! I love eggs and potatoes so combing them in one meal was a double win!
Pizza Margherita – I love a good pizza and this was good, it was fairly simple to prepare and the results were yummy.
Cornbread – For the people who know me, know I love cornbread, it is one of my favorite foods and for so long I have been searching for the perfect recipe and this came pretty close. I have had my fair share of cornbread and this one is defieneltly one I am going to make again over Christmas.
