Warm Foods for the Cold Weather

Warm the inside when it’s cold outside with these delicious foods. Ever have those days when a blanket is just not enough, I know I have. Some days where I live it can be below freezing and even being covered in a blanket with the heat on 90 does not warm me up. That is why I love warm comfort foods, they make you feel warm inside and out ๐Ÿ™‚

Since where I live the weather is becoming colder I thought why not share with you my favorite comfort foods for those Winter days.

ENJOY ๐Ÿ™‚

GOUDA-BACON MAC & CHEESE: Nothing says comfort food like homemade macaroni and cheese! This is definitely a family favorite:)

Slow- Cooker Turkey Chili – I am a big lover of chile so when I found this recipe I was over the moon happy ๐Ÿ™‚

Slow- Cooker Beef Stewย – a few years ago we bought a slow cooker and we haven’t used it much since then so when I saw these recipes online I was so happy to finally have an excuse to use it. This is such a delicious and warm, comforting recipe that is wonderful to make during the Holidays or on a snowed in day!

Short Rib meatloafย – Ribs and meatloaf are two of my favorite things so combing the two in one recipe tastes oh so good!

Chicken Noodle Soup ย – what better way to beat off a winter cold than with chicken noodle soup. This soup is packed full of nutrients that will have you up and running in no time! And if you are not sick then this is a delicious meal to warm you up!

Roasted Chicken and Potatoesย – hands down roasted chicken with potatoes is my favorite meal. Although it does take time to prepare it is worth it because the end result is scrumptious.

Chicken pot pieย – I don’t know what it is about chicken pot pie but everytime I eat it I feel so good, it is so warming and it always tastes so delicious, an added bonus is this recipe is amazing and simple to make!

Baked-Potato Eggs Recipeย – I love breakfast so much so when I found this recipe I had to try it out! I have one word, incredible!!! I love eggs and potatoes so combing them in one meal was a double win!

Pizza Margherita – I love a good pizza and this was good, it was fairly simple to prepare and the results were yummy.

Cornbreadย – For the people who know me, know I love cornbread, it is one of my favorite foods and for so long I have been searching for the perfect recipe and this came pretty close. I have had my fair share of cornbread and this one is defieneltly one I am going to make again over Christmas.

I found Recipe #1 onย Community Table.paradeย , I found recipe #2 – #6 onย Today.com, I found recipe # 7 – #10 onย Real simple

    1. Some more great recipes!

I think the Gouda bacon mac-n-cheese sounds delicious and fairly simple to prepare.
I think Iโ€™ll try using my rice cooker, as you had suggested in a previous post, to try making this mac-n-cheese.

I am also a huge corn bread lover and I thank you for sharing this recipe…..canโ€™t wait to make this.

I think Iโ€™ll make corn bread with mac-n-cheese as a dinner, very soon….and Iโ€™ll look forward to the leftovers too!

Thanks again for your great recipes and blog!
