Hello readers and welcome back to my blog, and happy Monday! Monday, the most dreaded day of the week for me. But this week is going to be short because we have off on Wednesday because of a Jewish Holiday and I am going on vacation this week, so to me it’s really Thursday! My time off does change my uploading scedule because I will not be posting on Friday this week or Monday of the following week. But don’t worry because I will be back on Wednesday and Friday of the following week and I will be posting this Wednesday.
For todays post I am going to be sharing with you homemade Fall decor for your homes.
ENJOY 🙂
Painted Pumpkin
Don’t leave your pumpkins plain this season, paint them with funky patterns!
Pumpkin Succulents
Tired of boring old brown plant pots, then try is easy and adorable pumpkin holder!
Take two small or medium-sized pumpkins, cut the stems off as close to the pumpkin as possible, then paint them the same way a candy apple would look. Then take some wood polls and glue them where the stem of the pumpkin would be and voila! Candy apple pumpkins!
BRIAN WOODCOCK
Pumpkin Mason Jars
You can buy mason jars just about anywhere, but I recommend Walmart or Target because they are very cheap there. Once you have your mason jars paint them orange and paint the tops brown (refer to picture). You can use spray paint or use a paint brush to paint them. Once they are dry take a brown rod (refer to picture) and glue it to the top of the jar, add other decorations to have desidered look. For the other pumpkins decorate differently with leaves and strings.
THE 36TH AVENUE
Glitter leaves
Buy a pack of leaves at any store. I bought mine from Christmas tree shops but just about any decorating store sells them. Once you have your leaves, paint them with clear glue, then sprinkle glitter on them. I bought all of my glitter supplies at Michael’s, they have a very good selection of Fall colored glitters. To avoid it getting too messy hold by the stem. Once they are coated let dry then hang with brown string.
HOUSE OF JADE
Candy corn jar
To make this delicious decor take a flower-pot and paint it black. Once it is dry turn it upside down. Then take a clear bowl and put it on the upside down black flower pot. Fill the bowl with candy corn. Then take a smaller flower pot, one that it about 1/8 size of the first flower pot, paint it black then add a small wooden ball to the top also painted black, glue to the small flower pot. Then put that pot over the top of your bowl opening. And your done! You can add bows and other things to your decoration if desired.
