14 Life hacks you never knew about

One thing I think most people can universally agree on is that life hacks are great! Whether you are finding a quicker way to get ready in the morning or making a chocolate chip cookie in under a minute, hacks which make your life easier are something we all love.

So, i’ve scowered the internet, searched the seas, read through books, and i’ve come up with 14 hacks which will change your life. Now this might be an ambitious claim to make but i am confident once you read through these you too will be amazed.

Nothing is worse than after eating a bad of cheetos to have cheesy sticky orange fingers. Avoid cheesy fingers by eating messy potato chips with chopsticks.

If you’re having trouble filling your bucket up under the tiny faucet, use a plastic dustpan as a funnel.

Fit even more in the fast food ketchup containers by pulling out the sides.

Dip your oreos the correct way to avoid milk dripping fingers.

Turns out the edges of a juice box are there for more than just decoration.

Never break a nail opening a soda can again!

I guarantee you’ve been peeling bananas wrong your whole life. Turn them upside down just like monkeys do.

Getting ketchup out of the bottle is easier than you think. Simply tap the side of the bottle where the label starts with your hand.

Food too hot to eat? Leave a hole in the middle of your pasta so it’ll cool quicker.

Wrap wet paper around your warm bottle of water, place it in the fridge and it will cool twice as fast.

Trying to hide words you just wrote? Don’t cross them out because most times you can just read through them. Instead write another word over the top to throw off anyone who many want to sneak a peak.

Hold burgers the correct way to avoid your fixings spilling out.

Who knew that’s what the lids on drinks were for? Create your very own coaster to avoid the dreaded water stain.

Cut the ends off the orange slice halfway through the middle until you reach the center so it opens up to reveal each individual segment still intact.

If you re-create any of the hacks then tag @theresahealeyy on your instagram story or photo/video or tweet me a picture of your creation (@theresah28) to be featured on my blog! Or if you don’t have social media then send me a picture via email (my ‘contact’ tab) of your finished product.

    1. Great post this week – these are some great ideas!
One I learned for the burger (the hard way)…flip it over so the top of the bun is the bottom…it’ll prevent the bottom from getting soggy and melting apart!

      1. Thank you glad you liked the post! ๐Ÿ˜ and thank you for the burger tip! A soggy burger bun is not appetizing.
